About the position

The Design Program Manager for the Global Enablement Program at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for curating and optimizing content for the Worldwide Prospecting Day (WWPD) event. This role focuses on aligning content with customer personas and user needs to drive pipeline opportunities and annual recurring revenue (ARR). The manager will audit existing content, recommend new types, and collaborate with various teams to create user-centered experiences that simplify complex topics through minimalist design principles.

Responsibilities

  • Auditing existing content and providing recommendations for new content types that resonate with target audiences
  • Partnering with content contributors to source high-quality, relevant content that meets requirements
  • Curating the content into user-centered experiences that simplify complex topics through minimalist design principles
  • Measuring, tracking, and analyzing performance data to optimize content and maximize efficiency
  • Ensuring core messaging alignment across the WWPD campaign
  • Aligning WWSO (Worldwide Solutions Organization) industry and solutions with the content curation
  • Partnering with SMEs to map primary use cases to the content
  • Collaborating cross-functionally (AFX, Field, PMM, WWSO, Global Marketing) to create prospecting workflows
  • Integrating AWS Solutions content with PMM's top-line messaging
  • Defining the target audience for workflows with input from Field and WWSO teams
  • Establishing a delivery mechanism and curating enablement content (e.g., kickoff decks, videos) based on SME input and user feedback

Requirements

  • 3+ years of design experience
  • Experience working with agile development teams (agile/scrum/kanban)
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications, particularly Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat using macOS
  • An available online portfolio

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with e-commerce, search, social, and other major application types and their UX patterns
  • Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touch points on different platforms and devices
