About the position

The Design Project Coordinator at See Me Signs is a part-time role focused on managing the coordination of custom sign projects from initial consultation to installation. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure projects are executed smoothly and meet client expectations. The role is primarily remote with some hybrid responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of sign projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and tracking progress.
• Create proof layouts for client approval.
• Email vendors for site survey requests and purchase orders.
• Correspond with vendors to set up site survey dates and installation dates for customers.
• Follow up with customers regarding project status and needs.
• Email invoice information for payment processing.
• Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with design, production, and installation teams for seamless project execution.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts and client communications.
• Conduct final inspections and coordinate necessary adjustments or corrections.
• Assist with invoicing, purchasing, and inventory management as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in project coordination and customer service.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in email and project management software.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

• Design skills (Adobe) are a big plus.
• Knowledge of the construction industry or the sign-making process, including design, production, and installation.
