About the position

The Design Project Coordinator at Franklin Mountain Packaging LLC is responsible for coordinating tasks and providing professional administrative support to design project teams. This role involves overseeing graphic design projects, maintaining project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders. The coordinator will also assist in managing the company's brand identity and marketing efforts, ensuring that all communication assets align with branding standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and maintains project plans, tracks project progress, and prepares reports for clients or project stakeholders.
  • Reviews project requirements, identifies interdependencies with internal or external departments, delegates responsibilities, and ensures that work is completed as needed.
  • Schedules cross-functional meetings to facilitate collaboration.
  • Maintains project-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, or payment records.
  • Assists with the management of the company's brand identity and professional visibility, ensuring strong branding elements are integrated into all communication assets, particularly social media platforms.
  • Provides organizational and strategic support by participating in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities relating to marketing programs.
  • Identifies and tracks scorecard metrics, identifies opportunities for improving methods and procedures, identifies resource needs, and implements improvements.
  • Clearly conveys information and ideas through various media to employees and supervisory staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Over two years of experience in marketing or design, with manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking, organization, prioritizing, and time-management skills.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficient math skills including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, adding fractions, and reading measurements on a ruler.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a small fast-paced office.

Nice-to-haves

  • College degree preferred.
