About the position

The Design Technology Specialist in the GIS Team is responsible for implementing and delivering Esri GIS solutions and workflows to design firms, enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves consulting, demonstrating, training, and supporting clients in utilizing the latest Esri GIS technologies, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Esri products such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise systems to assist clients in managing and analyzing their spatial data.
• Provide expert consultation and support to clients on GIS and Esri products.
• Develop and implement Esri GIS workflows for clients.
• Develop and deliver customized training programs for clients on GIS and Esri products.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Stay up to date on the latest developments and trends in GIS and Esri products.
• Work with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments within the company to ensure that clients' needs and concerns are being met.
• Perform additional duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Esri products.
• Strong technical background with experience in GIS and Esri products.
• Experience with Arcade, Python, ArcGIS API for Python, or FME.
• Geodatabase design, maintenance, and versioning experience.
• Experience with ArcGIS Indoors, Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of CAD to GIS/BIM to GIS workflows.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit (or other Autodesk products).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Client-facing skills with a dynamic personality and ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
• ArcGIS Enterprise experience preferred.
