About the position

As a Designer at RH Interior Design, you will play a crucial role in leading key phases of design projects, collaborating with clients and partners to create luxurious and functional spaces. This position requires a refined taste and a discerning eye for luxury, embodying the RH lifestyle while effectively communicating design concepts and overseeing various aspects of the design process.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of brand-appropriate presentations and communicate design concepts effectively.
• Oversee space planning and comprehensive product selections.
• Conduct client consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and installations.
• Educate potential clients on RH Interior Design services.
• Provide product expertise and elevated service focusing on furnishings, hard surfaces, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with external partners and vendors to source and conceptualize products and materials.
• Maintain a strong interest in the luxury and design industry.
• Build and foster strong vendor relationships and stay current with industry trends.

Requirements

• Degree in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design or equivalent work experience.
• NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, and other related programs.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.
• Strong artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching capabilities preferred.
• Experience in a design/architecture firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred.
• Hands-on interior installation experience preferred.
• Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic and mental agility.
• Highly collaborative and relationship-driven.
• Results-oriented.
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs. and maneuver effectively around the gallery floor, stock room, and office.
