About the position

The Textile/CAD Designer role at Levi's focuses on creating original print and pattern designs for both Men's and Women's apparel. This position is integral to the CAD Design team, contributing to the development of seasonal design concepts and ensuring that the textile artwork process is executed effectively from start to finish. The designer will collaborate with various teams to align on business needs and produce production-ready artwork files for global vendor partners.

Responsibilities

• Create and design original print and yarn dye artworks within the CAD Design team.
• Contribute to the research and development of seasonal design inspiration and concepts.
• Support the textile artwork process from start to finish, evaluating submits for color, layout, scale, and execution.
• Collaborate with Design partners to understand business needs and requirements.
• Create production-ready artwork files to communicate designs and intent to cross-functional partners and global vendor partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or equivalent industry-related work experience.
• 5+ years of Design experience in the apparel industry.
• High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and experience with Adobe Illustrator.
• High proficiency in either Kaledo or NED Graphics.
• Experience with design process, textile repeats, and how to construct them (Prints, Woven's, Knits).
• Painting/drawing skills and a strong sense of color.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and navigate multiple timelines and concurrent projects.
