As a Designer, Creative Visual Merchandising, you will play a crucial role in achieving our sales goals by increasing the impression and appeal of our products and brands. This will be accomplished through the development and execution of engaging creative concepts for merchandising and retail animation, as well as print advertising, digital campaigns, and promotions. This role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence three times a week in New York City (Manhattan). The working hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM with an hour lunch break. It is important to note that this is an in-office position focused on design and is not located on the floor of a retail store. Candidates must possess 3D design experience, a creative visual merchandising portfolio, and experience in a multi-brand beauty company. In this position, you will execute the strategy for promoting brand images and product offerings as defined by the marketing teams. You will be responsible for creating, designing, and developing appealing and eye-catching concepts, including designs, visuals, plans, and renderings in 3D. A clear understanding of the importance of visual appeal and functional application of merchandising elements is essential. You will also develop and execute the production of ready files for various needs, manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and ensure attention to detail in graphic design layout, typography, print specifications, and manufacturing specifications. Additionally, you will consult brand guidelines and archival files to maintain overall aesthetic and design consistency throughout projects. You will act in alignment with the brand's universe and target market, implementing, negotiating, and liaising with suppliers to oversee production, identify, and source props, fabrics, and hardware. Monitoring time constraints, costs, and budget will also be part of your responsibilities.
