Responsibilities

• Review customer project requirements and identify appropriate Pelican products.
• Perform computer-aided design and drafting duties from sketches and concepts.
• Generate CAD drawings and develop Bill of Materials for customer-specific applications.
• Discuss projects with assigned engineers and incorporate feedback into designs.
• Measure customer equipment using basic measurement devices.
• Work with external vendors to ensure unique components are purchased or custom-made as needed.
• Collaborate with production personnel to meet customer requirements and ensure internal process control.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, Technical Certificate, or equivalent experience.
• 3-4 years of design and drafting experience, with a minimum of 1 year as a Detail Drafter.
• Working knowledge of CAD modeling and drafting principles.
• Experience with MRP systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Solid Edge and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Familiarity with SAP MRP system.
