About the position

The contract Designer will support the Growth Marketing team at theSkimm by creating visually engaging assets for paid advertising and lifecycle marketing efforts. This role is focused on designing standout ad creatives and crafting beautiful, conversion-focused emails, playing a crucial part in driving engagement and supporting marketing initiatives. The position is part-time and short-term, specifically for November and December 2024.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality assets for paid advertising campaigns, including social media and display ads.
• Create visually appealing email designs that align with our brand and marketing goals.
• Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to iterate on creative concepts and ensure assets meet campaign objectives.
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets and help evolve our brand identity as needed.
• Manage and organize design files in Figma to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration.

Requirements

• Figma Expertise: Proficient in using Figma as the primary design tool.
• Marketing Design Experience: Background in creating assets for paid advertising and lifecycle marketing, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite: Experience with Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and understanding of brand visual consistency.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate ideas and collaborate effectively with remote teams.

• Sailthru Experience: Familiarity with Sailthru or similar email marketing platforms.
