About the position

The Designer I position at Nike's Graphic Studio focuses on creating compelling graphic storytelling for footwear and apparel. This entry-level role emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and the use of 2D and 3D design tools to support product development and marketing efforts. The designer will work closely with various teams to produce high-quality graphics and maintain product imagery, contributing to Nike's mission of innovation and excellence in athletic wear.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain graphic schematics for footwear and apparel.
  • Help create consumer-right color and graphics assortments.
  • Manage product imagery focusing on footwear and apparel.
  • Support design teams in creating trim tech packs, all-over prints, and style schematics in Illustrator.
  • Work with palettes and leverage library assets to enhance design processes.
  • Attend team meetings and collaborate with triad teammates and independently.
  • Intake work and collect information from multiple sources for design projects.
  • Communicate effectively across the product creation triad.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite, highly proficient in Illustrator, and proficient in Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of color, print, and production of graphics.
  • Quality control of imagery and details in a high-speed environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in 3D programs such as CLO, V-Stitcher, Modo, or Adobe Substance.
  • Technical skills within automation, scripts, and CC Libraries.
