About the position

The Designer II, Instructional role at Kubota Tractor Corp focuses on leveraging expertise in adult learning and instructional systems design to enhance the value delivered by Kubota University. This position collaborates with various stakeholders to design impactful learning experiences and job aids that cater to the needs of Kubota's dealer channel and employees across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design activities for proposed training programs, recommending training and non-training solutions.
• Collaborate with Kubota University personnel and Subject Matter Experts in the development and delivery of training programs.
• Design and participate in the deployment of evaluation strategies to measure the impact of Kubota University programs.
• Analyze results and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Provide input and recommendations for training plans, curriculum structures, and competency frameworks.
• Lead efforts to define, document, and improve processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Research and recommend emerging tools and techniques to benefit Kubota University's mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication, Marketing, or related field preferred; or at least 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with a degree, or 5 years without.
• At least 2 years of experience working with eLearning tools (Articulate, Captivate, etc.).
• Experience with corporate universities/LMS systems preferred.
• Ability to show a portfolio of previous work, including various training materials.
• Skilled in facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in designing and deploying instructional approaches (ILT, vILT/Webinars, eLearning, etc.).
• Cross-functional team management experience and ability to manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Conversational Spanish or Japanese would be a plus.
