About the position

The Enerflex Broken Arrow team is dedicated to designing and fabricating Gas Processing and Treating modules and equipment. The Static Designer III will be an integral member of the Execution Engineering team at our Broken Arrow, OK location. This role primarily focuses on the accurate and timely completion of 3D Models, Fabrication Drawings, and Bill Of Materials for vessels and towers involved in Gas Processing and Treating projects. All work must align with the company's mission and values, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. In this position, the designer will be responsible for preparing 3D Models, Fabrication Drawings, and Bill Of Materials for pressure vessels, Tray Towers, Packed Columns, and Tanks, following International codes such as ASME and API, as well as Company and Client standards. The designer will also create detailed drawings for components like Nozzles, Vessel supports, Column internals, Packed Beds, Coalescers, Demisters, and Pipe Supports. Modifications to drawings will be performed based on client feedback and standards, ensuring that all work meets safety, quality, and technical competency criteria. The role requires interaction with other departments to clarify information relevant to the drawings being undertaken, ensuring compliance with On time/ On Budget metrics. The designer will maintain records of drawings and documents as assigned by Discipline Managers, Lead Engineers, or Senior Designers, and will coordinate with other Engineering Discipline Designers. The position demands proficiency in using computers and office equipment, including copiers, printers, and telephones, as well as a strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of 3D Model, Fabrication Drawings and Bill Of Materials for pressure vessels, Tray Towers, Packed Columns and Tanks as per International codes (ASME, API) and Company/ Client standards.
  • Preparation of Detailed drawings like Nozzle, Vessel support, Column internals, Packed Beds, Coalescers, Demisters, Platform/ Ladder, Pipe Supports etc.
  • Perform modification on drawings as per client comment and standard.
  • Ensuring that work done meets all acceptance criteria with respect to safety, quality and technical competency.
  • Review GA & fabrication drawings for pressure vessel, heat exchanger, condenser, Column and Tanks as per International codes (ASME, API) and Company/ Client standards.
  • Interaction with other departments for clarification on information relevant to drawings undertaken.
  • Ensure On time/ On Budget metrics compliance.
  • Maintaining records of drawings and other documents as assigned by Discipline Managers/Lead/Senior Engineer/Lead Designer.
  • Coordination with other Engineering Discipline Designers.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or Technical School Training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Aided Design Technology or related field.
  • 8 years design experience of ASME Code pressure vessels, structural components or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient using 3-D CAD design; proficient using complete Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), proficient with email system.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communications.

Nice-to-haves

  • AutoCAD proficiency.
  • Strong creative ability to design and develop mechanical, structural, electrical, electronic equipment.
  • Good organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience in related industry.
  • Working knowledge in gas process & treating.
  • Familiarity with tools like COMPRESS, WRENCH.
