The In-Home Design & Sales Consultant position at Custom Decorators, Inc. (CDI) involves partnering with the company to provide expert guidance and sales of custom window treatments directly in clients' homes. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while managing all aspects of the design and installation process, from concept to completion. Successful candidates will leverage their design expertise and sales skills to enhance customer experiences and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home consultations for custom window treatments.
• Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation to installation.
• Offer expert guidance on product selection and design options.
• Utilize technology to access client and sales information on-the-go.
• Quote prices and enter orders during client appointments.
• Collaborate with the client services satisfaction team for support.

Requirements

• Experience in interior design or related fields.
• Proven sales experience, particularly in window treatments or home design.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in design or a related field.
• Background in flooring sales, closet design, or kitchen & bath sales.
• Experience as an independent design company owner.
