About the position

Custom Decorators, Inc. (CDI) is seeking experienced Design & Sales professionals to join our team as in-home custom window treatment consultants. As a part of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert design and sales services directly in the homes of our clients. Our company specializes in custom-made window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality products. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, we have established ourselves as the premier in-home design and installation service for major retailers and brands across North America. In this role, you will manage all aspects of the customer’s project, from the initial creative concept to the ordering process and final installation. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing tailored solutions that meet their specific needs and preferences. Our partnerships with top-tier retailers ensure that you will have access to quality leads at no cost, allowing you to focus on what you do best—designing and selling. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about design and have a background in interior design, window treatment sales, flooring sales, closet design, kitchen & bath, or related fields. Responsibilities

• Provide in-home design consultations for custom window treatments.
• Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation to installation.
• Develop tailored design solutions based on client needs and preferences.
• Utilize technology to access client and sales information on-the-go.
• Quote prices and enter orders directly in the client's home.
• Collaborate with the client services satisfaction team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain direct communication with dedicated sales support team members.

Requirements

• Experience in interior design, window treatment sales, or related fields.
• Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using technology for sales and client management.
