About the position

Custom Decorators, Inc. (CDI) is seeking experienced Design & Sales professionals to join our team as in-home custom window treatment consultants. As a part of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and exceptional customer service to clients looking for custom-made window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery. Our company, a division of Hunter Douglas, has been a leader in the in-home design and installation service for over 25 years, partnering with major retailers and brands across North America. We pride ourselves on managing all aspects of our customers' projects, from the initial creative concept through to the ordering process and final installation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently while benefiting from the support of our established brand. Successful consultants typically come from backgrounds in interior design, window treatment sales, flooring sales, closet design, kitchen and bath design, or similar fields. We also welcome graduates with degrees in design or related fields, as well as independent design company owners looking to expand their business. This position offers flexibility in scheduling appointments, allowing you to work at times that are convenient for you, and provides access to quality leads at no cost. As a consultant, you will have uncapped earning potential, with average sales exceeding $3500. You will also have access to technology that allows you to manage client and sales information from anywhere, enabling you to quote prices in the client's home, enter and track orders, and access product installation schedules. Responsibilities

• Provide in-home consultations for custom window treatments.
• Manage all aspects of the customer project from concept to installation.
• Quote prices and enter orders in the client's home.
• Track orders and access installation schedules.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.

Requirements

• Experience in interior design or window treatment sales.
• Background in related fields such as flooring sales, closet design, or kitchen & bath design.
• Degree in design or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
