About the position

Custom Decorators, Inc. (CDI) is seeking experienced Design & Sales professionals to join our team as in-home custom window treatment consultants. As a part of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and exceptional customer service to clients looking for custom-made window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery. Our company, a division of Hunter Douglas, has established itself as the premier in-home design and installation service for major retailers and brands across North America. With over 25 years of experience, we pride ourselves on managing all aspects of our customers' projects, from the initial creative concept through to the ordering process and final installation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients in their homes, helping them select the perfect window treatments that meet their needs and preferences. You will leverage your design expertise and sales skills to create tailored solutions that enhance the beauty and functionality of their spaces. Responsibilities

• Provide in-home consultations to clients for custom window treatments.
• Guide clients in selecting the best products for their needs and preferences.
• Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation to installation.
• Utilize technology to access client and sales information remotely.
• Quote prices and enter orders during client appointments.
• Collaborate with the client services satisfaction team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Experience in interior design, window treatment sales, or related fields.
• Strong sales skills with a proven track record of success.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree in design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
