About the position

The In-Home Design & Sales Consultant position at Custom Decorators, Inc. (CDI) involves partnering with the company to provide expert guidance and sales of custom window treatments directly in clients' homes. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while managing the entire process from design concept to installation, leveraging the company's strong partnerships with major retailers to generate quality leads.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home consultations for custom window treatments.
• Manage the design and sales process from concept to installation.
• Quote prices and track orders in clients' homes.
• Access and utilize technology for client and sales information.
• Collaborate with the client services satisfaction team for support.

Requirements

• Experience in interior design, window treatment sales, or related fields.
• Degree in design or a related field is preferred.
• Background in independent design company ownership is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in flooring sales, closet design, or kitchen & bath design.
