About the position

Custom Decorators, Inc. (CDI) is seeking experienced Design & Sales professionals to join our team as in-home custom window treatment consultants. As a part of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and exceptional customer service to clients looking for custom-made window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery. Our company, a division of Hunter Douglas, has been a leader in the in-home design and installation service for over 25 years, partnering with major retailers and brands across North America. We pride ourselves on managing all aspects of our customers' projects, from the initial creative concept to the ordering process and final installation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently while benefiting from the support of our established brand. Successful consultants typically come from diverse backgrounds such as interior design, window treatment sales, flooring sales, and kitchen & bath design. We also welcome graduates with degrees in design or related fields, as well as independent design company owners looking to expand their business. Our partnerships with top-tier retailers provide you with quality, cost-free leads, allowing you to focus on what you do best—selling and designing. This position offers uncapped earning potential, with average sales exceeding $3500 per appointment. You will have the flexibility to schedule appointments at your convenience, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively. Additionally, you will have access to technology that enables you to quote prices in the client's home, enter and track orders, and manage product installation schedules, all from your mobile device. Responsibilities

• Provide in-home consultations for custom window treatments.
• Manage all aspects of the customer project from concept to installation.
• Quote prices and enter orders in the client's home.
• Track orders and manage installation schedules using provided technology.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.

Requirements

• Experience in interior design, window treatment sales, or related fields.
• Strong sales skills with a proven track record of success.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
