About the position

The Designer Technician role involves delivering technical training and educational programs to both internal and external customers. The position requires expertise in instructional design and the ability to assess and adapt training materials to meet the needs of the audience, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training and educational programs to internal and external customers.
• Provide subject matter expertise for technical training and professional development curriculum.
• Support the instructional design process, including design/redesign, execution, and success metrics.
• Conduct assessments of course objectives versus student performance and diagnose performance gaps.
• Adapt training program materials as needed to align with audience learning styles and address performance gaps.

Requirements

• Completion of a high school diploma as a minimum requirement.
• 4+ years of experience relating to product service line operations, including curriculum development or training.
• IPC J-STD certification is ideal.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with soldering and electronics training delivery.
