About the position
The Freelance Designer will be part of the Beauty Design team, focusing on the personal care category. This role involves creating innovative packaging designs and concepts for seasonal collections, collaborating closely with the design team, and responding to feedback efficiently. The ideal candidate should possess a strong portfolio and relevant design experience, particularly in packaging and graphic design.
Responsibilities
- Create commercially viable product designs for the personal care category.
- Develop creative and appealing packaging concepts & designs for new seasonal personal care collections.
- Work closely with the design team to evolve & execute designs.
- Quickly interpret feedback and deliver timely revisions.
- Be an idea generator, self-starter, and collaborative team-player.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of design experience in a comparable packaging environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of packaging/graphic design projects and concepts.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout principles.
- Proficiency in creating mock-ups and prototypes (including 3D) to visualize packaging concepts.
