About The Position

Leidos, Inc. is seeking a qualified, creative, and customer-focused technical representative to provide systems administrator and deskside technical support at our customer site as a Deskside Technician (Tier 2). This role is pivotal in ensuring that end users receive timely and effective support for their technical needs. The technician will be the primary point of contact for operational desk-side break-fix support tasks and will also be involved in a PC Hardware Refresh initiative, deploying Windows 10 OS on new desktop and laptop devices for NRC end users. The ideal candidate will be familiar with conducting non-disruptive desk-side support to deploy Windows 10 configured hardware devices. Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Remedy, and tools specifically used to support the deployment of these devices is desired. Familiarity with ServiceNow will aid in deploying the hardware devices, processing tickets, and updating the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to capture changes. Excellent analytical and organizational skills are preferred, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with end users and provide status updates to both Leidos and customer representatives. The technician must be comfortable taking and executing direction on a tight schedule, and some travel may be required depending on the site supported.
