About the position

The Desktop/AV Support role involves providing high-level technical support in a Windows-based client computing environment. The position requires expertise in installing and configuring various computing devices and peripherals, along with robust troubleshooting skills and user support experience in enterprise settings. The role also emphasizes collaboration with IT staff to maintain a stable working environment and may involve supporting audio-visual technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support a Windows-based client computing environment.
• Install and configure tablet, laptop, desktop, and server computers, printers, and other peripherals.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting and provide user support in enterprise-wide organizations.
• Implement and support IT products and services that meet employee and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with corporate and international IT staff to ensure a stable working environment.
• Provide 2nd level support for Collaboration & Audio Video technology.

Requirements

• High level of knowledge in supporting a Windows-based client computing environment.
• Ability to install and configure various computing devices and peripherals.
• Robust hardware troubleshooting skills and significant user support experience.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge to provide solutions and assist others.
• Ability to work with corporate and international IT staff.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Collaboration & Audio Video technology such as Smart Board, Microsoft Surface Hub, Cisco Video Conferencing, and Crestron.
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
