About the position
The Desktop Support Analyst role at Robert Half is a contract-to-hire position focused on providing endpoint technology solutions within the construction industry. The analyst will manage and maintain hardware and software components, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide appropriate endpoint solutions that align with company objectives.
- Monitor and optimize the performance and security of endpoint systems including Windows, iOS, Android, identifying and addressing any vulnerabilities or bottlenecks.
- Provide efficient endpoint technology solutions, leveraging Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace One (MDM) and other cloud platforms addressing technical issues promptly.
- Manage installation and maintenance of hardware and software components with a focus on on-premises and Azure AD infrastructure.
- Assist in the setup and support of hand-held devices used within the organization.
- Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint management tools and systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Document and maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system changes.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
- Participate in multi team rotations as required and work in a group or individual setting as required.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Android Development
- Proficient in Cisco Technologies
- Solid understanding of Citrix Technologies
- Familiarity with Computer Hardware
- Experience with Dell Technologies
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Ability to work with Apple Devices
- Experience with Backup Technologies
- Skilled in Configuration Management
- Proficiency in Azure Active Directory
- Experience with Windows Intune
- Familiarity with MS Office 365
- Proficient in Mobile Device Management
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be able to prioritize and manage workload effectively
