About the position

The Desktop Support Engineer role involves providing comprehensive technical support for desktop and mobile devices, ensuring efficient operation of meeting room technology, and managing print services. This position requires collaboration with IT teams and the ability to train other engineers, while also documenting processes and resolutions to enhance support efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printer issues, including installation, configuration, and repair
  • Support meeting room technology, including video conferencing equipment and presentation systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain print servers and printers
  • Manage print queues and resolve print-related issues
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless support
  • Document incident resolutions and maintain accurate records
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in desktop support, printing, and meeting room technology
  • Train other engineers on image deployment
  • Prepare knowledge base documents related to image deployments
  • Act as a Single Point of Contact for the Project Management for overall deployment status and challenges

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Desktop Support or Field Services
  • Knowledge on SCCM and Intune Server operations
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop hardware
  • Experience with printer troubleshooting and repair
  • Familiarity with meeting room technology and video conferencing systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
