The Desktop Support Engineer/System Engineer role involves providing technical support and consulting for complex technology business systems. The position requires expertise in desktop tools, security software, and mobility solutions, with a focus on supporting a branch lab that includes both physical and virtual machines. This hybrid role combines on-site and remote work, allowing for strategic collaboration with client personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for a branch lab containing physical machines, virtual machines, and a network switch.
• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Technology Business Systems Consulting.
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted challenges in Technology Business Systems Consulting.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring an understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Requirements

• 5 years of Business Systems Data or Business Systems Design experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Expertise in desktop tools and security software such as Aternity and Blue Triangle.
• Knowledge of mobility solutions including Microsoft products and Intune.
• Experience with VB script and VB.NET.
