About the position

The Desktop Support Engineer will provide essential help desk support for a home care agency, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for clients through effective IT solutions. This role involves installing and upgrading operating systems and software, managing procurement activities for desktops, laptops, and printers, and maintaining hardware details for replacements.

Responsibilities

• Installing and upgrading Operating Systems and Computer software
• Handling all procurement and forecast related activities for desktops, laptops, and printers
• Maintaining details of end-of-life (EOL) hardware and liaising with the IT manager for replacements

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience setting up new devices for end users
• Proficient knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and user setup
• Ability to troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
• Good written and verbal communication skills
