About the position

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Desktop Support Engineer. This position is a vital member of our IT organization, responsible for supporting existing infrastructure, processes, and operating procedures to IT Services for our dynamically growing business. The Desktop Support Engineer will manage information technology and computer systems, ensuring that all technology platforms and data operations are planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated effectively. This role also involves training and mentoring colleagues to foster a cohesive and flexible operational team, as well as designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, policies, and procedures that align with the company's goals. Security is a key focus, as the engineer will ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems while acting with sensitivity to the needs of colleagues. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with Oracle, VMware, JD Edwards, Cisco hardware, Dell Hardware, Linux, Windows Domains, and Data center architecture. Proven experience as a senior Information Systems Engineer is essential, along with exceptional knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and technology platform hardware and software. Expertise in data center management and data governance, including Cloud and Hybrid approaches, is also required. The candidate should possess firsthand experience with network technologies, network administration, and network installation, and have the ability to manage a diverse and globally positioned set of relationships with peers, colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders. Sensitivity to the needs of a multicultural environment is crucial, as is the ability to be a positive agent of change within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage information technology and computer systems.
  • Plan, organize, control, and evaluate technology platforms and data operations.

Requirements

  • Direct experience with Oracle, VMware, JD Edwards, Cisco hardware, Dell Hardware, Linux, Windows Domains, and Data center architecture.
  • Proven and demonstrable experience as a senior Information Systems Engineer with a diverse professional background.
  • Exceptional knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and technology platform hardware and software.
  • Expertise in data center management and data governance (including Cloud and Hybrid approaches).
  • Firsthand experience with network technologies, network administration, and network installation.
  • Ability to manage a diverse and globally positioned set of relationships with peers, colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of a multicultural environment.
