About the position

The Desktop Support Engineer at Net2Source is responsible for providing comprehensive IT support within a manufacturing and lab environment. This role involves troubleshooting and managing IT devices, ensuring the functionality of various systems, and collaborating with multiple teams to resolve high-priority issues. The position requires a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols in a clean room setting.

Responsibilities

• Support overall manufacturing and lab IT systems and devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AV devices and IT equipment.
• Manage IT asset lifecycle including collection, storage, and disposal.
• Provide smart hands and feet support for technology teams.
• Ensure basic network connectivity and printer management at the site.
• Coordinate cable patching with vendors as needed.
• Install and configure hardware and software components for end users.
• Work with multiple teams and OEMs on high priority issues.
• Manage power shutdown maintenance activities in the data center.

Requirements

• Experience in desktop support at an enterprise level.
• Knowledge of data center operations and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with health care and life sciences domains.
• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for IT devices and AV equipment.
• Knowledge of GMP and GxP standards.
• Experience working in a clean room or manufacturing environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced Microsoft skills, particularly in server support.
• Experience with rugged tablets and specialized test equipment.
