About the position

The Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for managing IT Service Management operations, focusing on End User Computing and Deskside support services. This role requires a high-level understanding of desktop support technologies and infrastructure components, along with strong troubleshooting skills in networking and operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT Service Management operations for End User Computing and Deskside support services.
  • Provide deskside support, including imaging, migration, and printer support.
  • Install and troubleshoot operating systems and related issues.
  • Utilize SCCM, Ivanti, or Intune for software deployments and installations.
  • Handle patches and package installations, ensuring proper troubleshooting of issues.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in IT Service Management operations.
  • High-level understanding of desktop support technology areas.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure components.
  • Network understanding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with SCCM, Ivanti, or Intune for deployments and installations.
  • Experience in OS installation and troubleshooting.
