About the position

Infosys is seeking Desktop Support Engineers to address user problems with hardware and software, including printer support, both on-site and remotely. This role is crucial for maintaining optimal performance of desktop systems and ensuring timely support for client requests.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client support requests raised through ITSM tool/emails.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops, and workstations.
• Install and upgrade operating systems and computer software.
• Replace parts in laptops/desktops as needed.
• Support root cause analysis of equipment problems and provide effective diagnosis.
• Address customer requests for installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of hardware and software components.
• Maintain optimum performance of desktop systems and meet SLAs.
• Provide support for meeting setups and configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 2 years of strong end-user desk-side experience.
• Experience in administering desktop applications and tech refresh.
• Experience with OS (Windows 10/11) deployments and configurations.
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting skills.
