About the position

Apex Systems is seeking Desktop Support Technicians to provide IT support for government clients, specifically the Navy and Marine Corps. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues, as well as assisting in project planning and implementation of IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with minimal direction to conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement IT solutions.
• Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirements.
• Assist with project planning.
• Perform hands-on software and hardware repair.
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktop devices, peripheral equipment, and basic Outlook issues.

Requirements

• Active, DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance
• CompTIA Security+CE certification
• 4 years of IT experience in networking, systems troubleshooting, software, and hardware support.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Windows Server and Windows 7/8/10.
