About the position

The Desktop Support Specialist/Site Engineer role involves providing daily technical support to faculty, staff, and students in a K-12 campus environment. The position focuses on assisting with various devices and educational tools, ensuring a smooth technological experience for users.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily technical support to faculty, staff, and students in a K-12 campus environment.
  • Assist with Google Classroom tools and Chromebooks.
  • Support Windows and Mac-based lab and student devices.
  • Provide assistance with projectors, smartboards, and education-based applications.
  • Report to one or more campuses 5 days per week.

Requirements

  • Experience in desktop support in an educational environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Classroom tools and Chromebooks.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot projectors and smartboards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with educational applications and tools.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with faculty and students.
