About the position

The Desktop Support Specialist at Smile Partners USA will be a key member of the front line support desk team, responsible for providing exceptional IT support to dental practices across Georgia. This role emphasizes customer service and relationship-building with clients while resolving IT issues both remotely and on-site. The specialist will troubleshoot network and infrastructure problems, support various IT systems, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve client's IT issues remotely and physically at site locations using a ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate network and infrastructure related issues at branch and central offices including servers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Support Exchange Online and Active Directory infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other departments and sites to add value and create innovative solutions.
  • Provide support for internet service and connections at all offices.
  • Manage VoIP hardware and systems.
  • Occasionally build racks and install equipment at various offices.
  • Document and develop processes and procedures.
  • Maintain and support compliance with HIPAA and PCI regulations.
  • Prepare and manage computers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in IT with increasing responsibility, or
  • Associates Degree in a related field and 1 year experience, or
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 0.5 years experience.

  • Experience in Multi Unit Outpatient Healthcare field.

  • Experience imaging and replacing hardware.
