We are also setting new standards in ethical AI by creating the Artistic Rights Treasury (A.R.T.), a rights management solution designed to protect artists and rights holders within the Entertainment landscape. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Desktop Support Operative to join our IT team. This hands-on role involves providing first-line support to end-users facing issues with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The role will report directly to the IT Manager and will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to our users.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to end-users facing issues with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies
• Collaborate with IT staff on complex issues
• Provide user training and support for common software applications
• Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up for routine user problems
• Log all help desk interactions and guide users through problem-solving processes
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
• Assist in maintaining an inventory of IT assets
• Run diagnostic software to resolve problems
• Follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved
• Gain feedback from colleagues about improving their working environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with computer networks, peripherals, and operating systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with remote desktop support tools
• Certifications in relevant IT fields are a plus
• Experience in a fast-paced small to medium sized environment
• Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, printers, networking, and antivirus
