About the position

Flawless is shattering the boundaries of traditional filmmaking with its groundbreaking suite of Gen AI film editing tools. Our mission is to empower filmmakers with cutting-edge technology that allows creativity without compromise, expands storytelling possibilities, and delivers unparalleled visual and emotional experiences. We are also setting new standards in ethical AI by creating the Artistic Rights Treasury (A.R.T.), a rights management solution designed to protect artists and rights holders within the Entertainment landscape. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Desktop Support Operative to join our IT team. This hands-on role involves providing first-line support to end-users facing issues with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The role will report directly to the IT Manager and will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to our users.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to end-users facing issues with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies
  • Collaborate with IT staff on complex issues
  • Provide user training and support for common software applications
  • Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up for routine user problems
  • Log all help desk interactions and guide users through problem-solving processes
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of IT assets
  • Run diagnostic software to resolve problems
  • Follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved
  • Gain feedback from colleagues about improving their working environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with computer networks, peripherals, and operating systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools
  • Certifications in relevant IT fields are a plus
  • Experience in a fast-paced small to medium sized environment
  • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, printers, networking, and antivirus
