About the position

The Desktop Support role involves providing essential technology support within a large-scale distribution center. This position is a 12-month contract with potential for long-term extension or conversion. The candidate will work closely with a team of two technicians and the site manager, focusing on end-user technology support in a predominantly Windows environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic desktop support for end users.
  • Support PC hardware and peripherals, including printers and handheld devices.
  • Handle break-fix issues and troubleshoot email-related problems in Outlook.
  • Manage 10-15 support tickets per day using ServiceNow.
  • Assist with Windows CE Intel Computers and potentially some Android devices.

Requirements

  • Experience in hardware support for PCs, printers, and peripherals.
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Baseline knowledge of networking technologies.
