About the position

The Desktop Support position is a contract role based in NYC, NY, focused on providing technical support to end users for various computing issues. The Support Analyst will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving user-related problems, ensuring effective communication and documentation throughout the support process. This role requires expertise in both MAC OS and Windows environments, along with the ability to manage device setups and inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, resolve, and follow-up on issues relating to various user computing issues.
  • Provide technical support by phone, remote access, deskside, or site visits as required.
  • New hire device setup/imaging.
  • Experience utilizing ticketing systems and ensure tickets are accurately documented and resolved in accordance.
  • Device inventory management.
  • Position may require working extended hours or occasional night/weekend as required.

Requirements

  • MAC OS experience at the enterprise level.
  • Windows XX experience.
  • Experience utilizing ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Ability to write clear, concise documentation.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in person, over phone, through email, and using remote tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • X+ years of relevant technical field experience.
  • Prior Help Desk experience.
  • EUC LX with Scripting experience.
  • Focus on customer service and desire to work in a team environment.
