About the position
The Desktop Technician role at TEKsystems involves providing hardware support and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The technician will be responsible for deploying hardware, performing password resets, conducting break/fix repairs, and upgrading software, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Support deployments of hardware in a manufacturing environment.
- Perform password resets for users.
- Conduct break/fix repairs on hardware components.
- Upgrade software as needed.
- Troubleshoot and connect various hardware including laptops, desktops, printers, and scanners.
Requirements
- Experience in hardware support from a break/fix perspective.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and connecting hardware devices.
- Knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365.
