Desktop UI & Mobile Browser Lead Developer (Onsite)

About the position

At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small cross functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster than siloed individuals working independently. Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure 100% code coverage for line and branch using test automations.
• Implement automation testing using BDD frameworks.
• Collaborate with other technology teams and architects to define and develop scalable design solutions.
• Implement resilient and secure code solutions to enhance customer journey experiences and digital capabilities to automate.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Leverage advanced troubleshooting skills to efficiently identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.
• Help maintain code quality without sonar issues / vulnerabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

• Professional Degree: BS in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 10+ years demonstrated experience in developing enterprise level responsive web applications using front end technologies, and related testing tools/methodologies.
• 6+ years demonstrated experience in requirement analysis and application design.
• 6+ years of strong real-time experience in developing ReactJS based applications.
• Developed applications with good usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, web security (XSRF, cross-site scripting defense), accessibility, Markup standards, Last mile performance (minify, closure tools, sprites) and HTML document architecture.
• Experience in implementing web accessibility using ARIA techniques.
• Experience with Front-End application Unit-Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing and Test-Driven Coding practice.
• Experience with Agile practice, daily Stand-Up/Scrum and accountability to the software development team.
• Good analytical, written, and verbal communication skill.
