About the position

The Destination Agent (DA) Coordinator at HomeSafe Alliance plays a crucial role in managing the logistics of military household goods moves. This position serves as a liaison between agents, haulers, customers, and various departments, ensuring efficient and timely relocation experiences for military families. The DA Coordinator is responsible for optimizing moving processes, providing support to team members, and maintaining effective communication across all parties involved in the moving process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance to team members regarding booking procedures and policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize moving processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal and external departments.
  • Work all internal booking approvals to ensure smooth operations.
  • Effective analytical decision-making.
  • Manage and communicate date change requests across multiple communication channels.
  • Assign Destination Agents and identify approved SIT warehouses for potential deliveries.
  • Monitor and assign Booking To-Do's to ensure timely task completion.
  • Coordinate directly with agents, haulers, customers, and bases by telephone or electronically.
  • Demonstrate pro-active approach to resolving any concerns between external and internal partners with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee data management to maintain accurate and organized information.
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle service inquiries.
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource.
  • Keep records of all inquiries, concerns and interactions between partners and customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years operations experience, with military relocation of household goods preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications and proficient with computer functionality.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, patience, and empathy.
