About the position
The Detailer position at Nuss Truck & Equipment involves performing light mechanical work and cleaning tasks on trucks and equipment. The role is essential for maintaining the appearance and functionality of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting the overall operations of the dealership.
Responsibilities
- Cleans the interior and exterior of trucks and equipment
- Performs buffing, sandblasting, painting, and polishing of aluminum
- Completes light mechanical duties
- Follows all safety regulations and policies
- Adheres to federal, state, and local regulations governing hazardous waste disposal
- Cleans tools, equipment, and shop for acceptable appearance
- Completes service reports and other documentation as required by Nuss and/or customer
- Attends factory-sponsored training classes as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information in English
- Must be able to communicate well with others
- Excellent time management skills required
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
