About the position

The Vehicle Detailer position at Tesla involves working on advanced vehicles within the Collision Repair Program. The role requires strong technical skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The detailer will be responsible for maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing various detailing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
• Perform equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications
• Maintain records of time and materials
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars
• Knowledge of methods and techniques for detailing vehicles (wet sand, polish, buff, wax, etc.)
• Efficient skills in basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles

Requirements

• Willingness to learn new and innovative automotive technologies
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public
• Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
• Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
• Certificate in Automotive Technology and Retail automotive service experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record, preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
