The Danvers Treatment Center is a detoxification program dedicated to providing 24-hour nursing care to individuals undergoing withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs. The Nurse (RN or LPN) position is crucial for those who wish to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction. This role involves not only monitoring patients' withdrawal symptoms but also providing essential medical and emotional support during one of the most critical stages of recovery. The center emphasizes a therapeutic environment where patients can feel safe and supported throughout their treatment journey. As a Detox Nurse, you will be responsible for recording and reporting all observed symptoms, reactions to treatments, and changes in patients' safety status. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide health information and maintain accurate medical records for clients. Responding to patient care needs and assisting them with daily living activities is a key part of your role, promoting a positive therapeutic environment. Additionally, you will assist with the admitting, discharge, and transfer processes, participate in treatment team meetings, and contribute to the development of individualized care plans. Administering medications to patients is also a critical responsibility of this position.
