As a DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer at Anduril Industries, you will play a crucial role in architecting and building out tooling to scale the development of user interface applications across various platforms, including Windows, Linux, Android, and Web. Your primary focus will be on improving the developer experience and facilitating the deployment of reliable software. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers, contributing to the development of cutting-edge robotics systems that are integral to military operations. Your decisions will significantly impact the company's trajectory as you work on innovative solutions that enhance the capabilities of military systems. In this position, you will lead the development and implementation of modern DevOps strategies, practices, and tools specifically tailored for user interface applications. This includes designing, building, deploying, and managing tooling that accelerates the internal development process of user interface and autonomy software. You will also be responsible for creating automated testing frameworks and processes that ensure the reliability and performance of the software from backend to frontend, including simulation infrastructure. Your role will involve implementing automation jobs and workflows in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, which are essential for producing build artifacts in clean environments, executing test automation, generating build/test logs, and distributing artifacts to internal repositories. As a mentor, you will guide team members in applying DevOps methodologies and best practices while evaluating emerging technologies to keep the team aligned with industry standards. You will work with a variety of technologies, including Bash, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitLab-CI, among others, to create a robust development environment that supports the rapid evolution of military technology.
