About the position

The DevOps Architect position is a leadership role within a pharmaceutical company that focuses on deploying advanced AI-driven data analysis and automation solutions in client cloud infrastructures. The role combines cloud architecture with site reliability engineering, primarily utilizing AWS, and requires collaboration with major pharmaceutical companies to enhance regulatory processes and clinical trial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive the deployment and integration of software across client environments.
• Manage hands-on deployment and management of cloud solutions.
• Architect and design cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with client cloud teams to ensure successful implementation.

Requirements

• Expertise in cloud architecture, particularly on AWS.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker for deployments.
• Strong experience in Python; Django experience is a plus.
• Skilled in managing cross-account permissions and cloud security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development and automated testing practices.

Nice-to-haves
