About the position

The DevOps Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in developing automation solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments to support internal teams serving government clients. This position focuses on ensuring security and compliance while implementing efficient cloud operations through automation tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions involving application and infrastructure resources.
• Utilize and integrate various automation tools and frameworks to streamline cloud operations.
• Write and maintain scripts and code for automating cloud tasks using languages such as Python, Node.js, or PowerShell.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy and manage cloud resources.
• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated processes, configurations, and procedures.
• Ensure that all automated solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud computing, software development, and automation.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, and PowerShell.
• Experience with low code/no code solutions like AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of integration and API technologies (Graph API / REST API).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
