About the position

The DevOps Cloud Engineer role focuses on enhancing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and development processes within a distributed enterprise environment. The position requires expertise in cloud service providers, container technologies, and infrastructure as code, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous integration practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development projects in distributed enterprise environments.
• Set up new development projects using modern tools and practices.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Manage and configure cloud infrastructure using RESTful APIs.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Requirements

• 6+ years of overall engineering experience.
• 4+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in Kubernetes and container-based technologies.
• Sound experience with Infrastructure as Code/Terraform.
• Strong development skills in Python or Golang.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Shell Scripting.
• Knowledge of DevOps, infrastructure, and cloud computing.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem and its tools (Helm, Kustomize, OPA, FluxCD).
• Proficiency with standard Linux command line and debugging tools.
• Experience working with teams using Scrum, Kanban, or other agile practices.
• Knowledge of writing comprehensive unit tests, including mocking external utilities and APIs.
