About the position
This position is for a skilled individual to join Semantic AI's DevOps, Cloud, and SCM team, focusing on monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing the company's AWS infrastructure. The role involves supporting product delivery to customers and assisting the development team to meet the company's growing business needs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and enhance the company's AWS infrastructure.
- Support product delivery to customers.
- Assist the development team in meeting business needs.
- Manage application development and software delivery lifecycle.
- Implement Continuous Delivery and DevOps solutions.
- Administer code repository management and quality checks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science in Computers/Information Technologies/Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with installation, maintenance, and administration of Linux servers (CentOS/RedHat).
- 5 years of experience in managing application development and software delivery lifecycle.
- 5 years of experience in Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions.
- 5 years of experience with code repository management and automated deployment using tools like Jenkins, SVN, Git, Ansible, etc.
- 5 years of experience in automated build, delivery, and release of software.
- 5 years of experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
- 3 years of experience in automation scripting using Perl, Ruby, Bash, or Python.
- Strong expertise in managing AWS infrastructure.
Nice-to-haves
- AWS Associate Level Certification
- Experience supporting Java development and knowledge of Maven
- Experience with software packaging including rpm and Install4j
- Familiarity with Atlassian servers and cloud-hosted services like Bitbucket and JIRA
