About the position

The DevOps Engineer position focuses on guiding multiple teams in their Azure releases, leveraging expertise in Kubernetes, Groovy scripting, and observability tools like Datadog. The role requires hands-on experience with Azure and a strong background in CI/CD practices, aiming to enhance software release management and automation processes.

Responsibilities

• Guide multiple teams and their Azure releases
• Oversee new software releases and manage their implementation
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Design and develop release automation scripts using existing tools
• Monitor system behavior and resource utilization to identify constraints and prepare for scaling

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in DevOps Cloud Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Azure's network, security, deployment, automation, and serverless technologies
• Advanced proficiency in Groovy scripting for Jenkins
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, including GitOps for release management
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and SplunkCloud
• Strong technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Microsoft Azure
• Experience with ArgoCD and Helm for release management
