About the position

The DevOps Engineer position at Eliassen Group focuses on guiding multiple teams in their Azure releases, leveraging expertise in Azure, Kubernetes, and Groovy scripting. This role is critical in ensuring efficient software release management and automation within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Guide multiple teams and their Azure releases.
• Oversee new software releases and manage their implementation.
• Design and develop release automation scripts using existing tools and resources.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure, system, and security configurations.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in DevOps Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure's network, security, deployment, automation, and serverless technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Groovy scripting for Jenkins.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, including GitOps for release management using tools like ArgoCD and Helm.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, and SplunkCloud.
• Strong technical design, development, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Microsoft Azure certification.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.
