About the position

The DevOps Engineer - Cloud Security role focuses on enhancing security measures within cloud environments. The position requires a strong understanding of security concepts, particularly in relation to identity and access management (IAM) and zero-trust design principles. The engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions across various layers of cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust protection against potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security measures for public cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Automate security processes and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Good understanding of IAM concepts.
• Hands-on experience with information security on public cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of security across OS, network, application, data, and container layers.
• Proficiency in Python or Golang for security automation.
• Experience with cloud security tools like AWS Security Hub or Azure Security Center.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Wiz or similar CNAPP solutions.
• Experience designing and implementing SIEM/SOAR solutions.
• Understanding of Kubernetes security and container security.
• Experience with policy as code (OPA/Cedar) or CSP Service Control Policies.
